We're so happy to introduce our jewelry label SOLILUNA, where beauty meets sustainability! In the next few sections, you will find all the informations on our sustainability and ethics efforts regarding materials, working process, packaging and donations.

At our small jewelry label, we're committed to using ethically sourced and sustainable materials in our jewelry designs. That's why we use recycled gold and silver in most of our pieces, reducing the environmental impact of mining new materials.

We also reuse pearls from second-hand sources like old necklaces as often as possible, giving new life to materials that might otherwise be thrown away. Please feel free to check the descriptions of your favourite pieces for the exact details about the materials we used to create them or just write us an e-mail for further informations.

It's not just our materials that ensure our responsibility – our founder Sabrina also creates our jewelry all herself with lots of love and care by hand, using passionately self-taught craftsmanship techniques. This not only ensures that each piece is unique and of highest quality, but it also means we can minimize our energy usage and reduce waste by directly shipping to you from our small atelier in the South of Austria.

At our brand, we're committed to sustainability in every aspect of our business, including our packaging. We believe that every step towards a more sustainable future matters, and that's why we use environmentally friendly packaging made from grass paper, recycled paper, and cotton.

Grass paper is a revolutionary packaging material made from fast-growing grasses that require little water and no fertilizers or pesticides. It's biodegradable, compostable, and requires less energy to produce than traditional paper.

We also use recycled paper in our packaging, helping to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. By giving new life to old paper, we're conserving resources and reducing our carbon footprint.

And finally, we use certified organic cotton packaging for some of our products, which is not only eco-friendly but also perfect to store your jewelry pieces so they’re perfectly protected and keep their shine.

We are aware, that if we are using natural materials from mother earth, we have to give something back to show responsibility. That's why we donate 1€ per purchase to the Ocean Cleanup Organisation, who aim to clean our oceans from floating plastic (

Furthermore, we collect 10% of our only storewide sale of the year (which always takes place in November by the way) for charity projects like Live to Give ( and the Austrian animal rescue organisation "Tiereck" (

We hope that we could give you a good overview on our sustainability and ethics efforts. It is important to us that when you wear our handmade jewelry pieces, you can feel good knowing that your purchase is not only beautiful but also environmentally responsible.

If you still have any questions or interesting ideas for us on how to improve, please feel free to let us know via e-mail ( - we would be so happy to hear from you! :)
